It's spring so I'm taking some time off, but I wanted to share an experience with you.
I switched to ATT DSL and was getting a much slower speed than my 6MB subscription.
Long story short...It was my house wiring. As soon as I moved my modem to right off the connection coming in the house, my speed went up.
Hope that helps someone else out...
